Kessel and Schultz shine in 13-goal barnburner December 06, 2016

Both Phil Kessel and Justin Schultz made a big splash on the score sheet last night, as the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Ottawa Senators by a score of 8-5. Down 4-3 in the second period, the dynamic duo went to work, scoring goals 23 seconds apart to give the Penguins the lead. Kessel would eventually go on to be named the third star of the game, finishing the contest with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and a +3 rating. Schultz added an assist to his second period goal, and also registered 3 shots on net and 2 blocked shots. The Kelowna, British Columbia-native is currently on a 4-game point streak, tallying 3 goals and 3 assists in that span.
