Monahan scores again in losing effort April 20, 2017
The Calgary Flames saw their 2017 NHL Playoffs end last night, losing 3-1 to the Anaheim Ducks. Among the few positives from the team’s four-game sweep was the play of Sean Monahan, who, despite the losses, was arguably the best offensive player of the series. The 22-year-old center led all players in goals (4) and tied for the most points with 5. The Brampton-native was also the only player in the entire NHL Playoffs to score in each of his first four games.
