Strome ready for dynamic role with Oilers August 07, 2017
Ryan Strome is excited to begin a new chapter in his career with the Edmonton Oilers, who he was traded to earlier this summer. The 24-year-old forward feels like his new club is starting to look more and more like a Stanley Cup contender, one that is already filled with a plethora of top talents. Going into next season, the Mississauga-native has been tapped to play a combination of both center and right wing, a role that he thinks befits his playing style. In 2016-17, Strome tallied 13 goals and 17 assists in 69 games for the New York Islanders.
