Skjei has quickly become a household name September 07, 2017

Brady Skjei has made an almost meteoric rise in his time with the New York Rangers, going from burgeoning prospect to top NHL rookie in less than a year. After making a late impression with a 5-game playoff stint in the 2015-16 playoffs, the skillful defenseman went into the following season’s training camp on a mission, and never looked back. He quickly became a fan favorite, appearing in numerous fan videos on the team’s website, and is now considered one of the most popular Rangers in New York. To top it all off, Skjei entered the Rangers’ history books for his 2016-17 season’s performance, becoming only the 4th rookie defenseman to tally at least 30 assists.
