Tkachuk taking nothing for granted this season September 22, 2017

After shining in his rookie campaign with the Calgary Flames last year, sophomore forward Matthew Tkachuk does not plan on resting on his laurels this season. The 19-year-old understands the nature of the game and how competitive other prospects will be in training camp, and plans on giving it his all to solidify his spot on the roster. Drafted 6^th overall in last year’s draft, the native of Scottsdale, Arizona tallied 13 goals and 35 assists in 2016-17.
