Barrie stars in Avs’ win October 06, 2017
Tyson Barrie provided a bit of everything last night from the blue line, as the Colorado Avalanche surprised the New York Rangers at home, winning by a score of 4-2. The 26-year-old offensive defenseman, who would eventually be named the 3rd star of the contest, could not have had a much better opening game. Tasked with being one of Colorado’s top two defenders, Barrie appeared up to the challenge, tallying 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist), 4 shots on net and 25:14 of ice time.
