Flyers trade for goaltender Mrazek February 20, 2018

With a 2018 NHL Playoffs spot on the line, the Philadelphia Flyers acted on Monday, trading a 3rd and 4th round pick for Detroit Red Wings netminder Petr Mrazek. Drafted by Detroit in 2010, the native of Ostrava, Czech Republic has had a solid career in the NHL to date, with a winning record of 72-58 to go along with an excellent GAA of 2.60 and a save percentage of .912. Mrazek’s breakout season occurred in the 2015-16 season, where he posted career-highs in games played (54), wins (27), shutouts (4), GAA (2.33) and save percentage (.921).
