Jay Beagle creates history in Capitals' triumph June 11, 2018
Jay Beagle created professional hockey history last week, after his Washington Capitals claimed their first ever Stanley Cup title. With the win, the 32-year-old center became the first player ever to take home an NHL, AHL, and ECHL championship. The Calgary-native played in all but one of Washington 24 playoff games, tallying 8 points (2 goals, 6 assists), a +7 rating and 1 game-winning goal in that span.
