Namestnikov inks two-year deal with Rangers July 10, 2018
Vladislav Namestnikov and the New York Rangers came to terms on a two-year deal worth $8 million on July 1st. Acquired at the trade deadline by the Rangers, the 25-year-old forward had a breakout season in 2017-18, tallying career-highs in every offensive category, including goals (22) and points (48). With the Rangers missing the playoffs for the first time in 7 years, the Zhukovsky, Russia-native will be a key piece in the team’s resurgence in 2018-19.
