Skjei agrees to contract extension with Rangers July 30, 2018

Brady Skjei and the New York Rangers came to terms on a new, six-year contract extension on Saturday. Drafted 28th overall by the Rangers in 2012, the Lakeville, Minneosta-native has been a steady presence on the team’s blue line for two years running, averaging nearly 20 minutes of ice-time per game over that period. The 24-year-old defenseman has also quickly proven his abilities on the offensive end of the ice, registering 64 points (9 goals 55 assists) through his first 2 seasons with the club.
