Skinner stays hot in Sabres’ overtime victory November 09, 2018

Jeff Skinner continued his excellent run of scoring form last night, netting twice in Buffalo’s 6-5, overtime win versus Montreal. The 26-year-old sharpshooter would eventually go on to be named the 1st star of the contest, finishing the game with 2 goals and 3 shots on net. Acquired via trade in the offseason, the Toronto-native has made an instant impact with the Sabres in 2018-19. Through 16 games, Skinner has tallied an impressive 18 points (11 goals, 7 assists). He has been on fire of late, finding the back of the net on 5 occasions in just his last 4 games.
