Pietrangelo takes cup to IndyCar race near St. Louis August 28, 2019

Racing fan Alex Pietrangelo made the most of his second day with the Stanley Cup on Sunday, taking the trophy for a spin at nearby World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway in Madison, Illinois. The Blues’ captain opened up the race’s proceedings by greeting the fans with the Stanley Cup, flanked by two of his teammates. The 28-year-old defenceman had previously taken the cup in mid July to his hometown of King City, Ontario, where he celebrated the Stanley Cup triumph with, most notably, his one-year-old triplets.
