Laughton hopes third time’s the charm in 2014 September 12, 2014

2012 1st round pick Scott Laughton knows that making an NHL roster out of training camp is just half the battle. Sticking with the team, that is where things get really tough.  After two very short stints with the Philadelphia Flyers the past two seasons, the 20-year-old top prospect is eyeing a longer stay with the big club this year, and knows he will have a fight on his hands. The Oakville-native had a breakout campaign with the Oshawa Generals last season, registering 40 goals and 47 assists in just 54 games. He also excelled in the OHL Playoffs, putting up 11 points in 9 contests.
