Schwartz and Blues agree on two-year contract September 29, 2014

Restricted free agent Jaden Schwartz signed a two-year contract worth $4.7 million on Saturday, a deal that will pay him $2.35 million annually. The 22-year-old joined up with the Blues’ training camp today, and will most likely appear in two exhibition games before the season begins. Drafted 14th overall in 2010, Schwartz was a breakout performer for the Blues last year, registering 25 goals and 31 assists in 80 games played.
