Konecny excited for second chance at WJC glory August 04, 2016

After watching Canada fall to a 6th place finish in the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championships, Travis Konecny is one of 9 returning players to Team Canada’s development camp this summer. Though his goal is to make the Philadelphia Flyers roster out of training camp in September, the 19-year-old top prospect is also gunning for a World Junior Championship gold medal in January.  The London, Ontario-native is coming off a season that saw him tally 101 points (30 goals, 71 assists) in 60 games split between the Sarnia Sting and the Ottawa 67’s of the OHL.
