Alex Pietrangelo, honored before his 1,000th NHL game, expressed gratitude for the support throughout his career, stating, "You don't get to this spot without a lot of good people along the way." Reflecting on the milestone, Pietrangelo added, "I keep getting reminded that not many people have done it in the history of the NHL, so I think (I'm) trying to enjoy it for what it is." Pietrangelo, a three-time All-Star and three-time gold medalist for Team Canada, won the Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019 and with the Golden Knights last season. Pietrangelo made history by becoming the sixth defenseman to record multiple assists in his 1,000th career game.
