Kody joined Newport Sports Management as a client during his playing career and transitioned to a full-time player agent in 2025. Drawing from his experience at both the junior and professional levels, Kody is focused on supporting the next generation of players through all stages of their development and careers.

A former second-round NHL draft pick by the Washington Capitals, Kody played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Ottawa 67’s before spending several seasons in the American Hockey League (AHL). His firsthand understanding of the professional hockey landscape gives him valuable insight into the pressures and challenges faced by players navigating the path to the NHL.

Kody brings a unique player-first perspective to NSM’s team, with an emphasis on mentorship, development, and long-term career planning. His background in professional hockey and strong communication skills make him a trusted resource for players and their families as they pursue success both on and off the ice.
