It’s safe to say everyone in Pittsburgh agrees – James Neal is the real deal.

The Penguins upswing was looking like a thing of the past as they took on New Jersey in a home-and-home series Saturday and Sunday, dropping both games and looking less than impressive.

In their two games against the Devils, the Pens managed to score just two goals, allowing six, in two 3-1 losses. Pittsburgh would rebound Wednesday, improving their home record to 3-3, with a 4-2 victory over Ottawa.
