Strome to lead Team Canada at WJC December 23, 2016

Arizona Coyotes’ top prospect Dylan Strome has been named captain of the Canadian Men’s National Junior Team this year, at they vie for gold at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championships. Drafted 3rd overall at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, the 19-year-old offensive dynamo is one of five returning players from last year’s 6th place finish in Finland. The Mississauga-native tallied an assist in a seven-game stint with the Coyotes earlier this season, and has registered 16 points (5 goals, 11 assists) in 7 games since returning to Erie of the Ontario Hockey League.
