Iginla traded to playoff contending Los Angeles Kings March 01, 2017
Jarome Iginla was handed an opportunity to compete for a Stanley Cup ring today, with the Colorado Avalanche trading the star winger to the Los Angeles Kings. All that is missing from the Edmonton-native’s career is a Stanley Cup triumph, as he already ranks among the NHL’s all-time top scorers. A shoo-in for the Hall of Fame, the 39-year-old has tallied 18 points (8 goals, 10 assists) in 61 games with the Avalanche this year.
