Karlsson’s goliath performance almost propels Sens’ to Stanley Cup Finals May 26, 2017

The Ottawa Senators came up just a hair short in their bid to become Stanley Cup finalists last night, but even the loss, Erik Karlsson once again proved he was on of the NHL’s best players. The Swedish superstar was a tower of power on the Senators’ blue line, playing nearly 40 minutes in the contest while assisting on both of his team’s goals. For the playoffs, the 26-year-old registered 18 points in 19 games, a +13 rating, and two game-winning goals.
