AHL veteran Taormina playing his best hockey for Crunch May 26, 2017

Matt Taormina tallied a goal and an assist on Wednesday night, guiding the Syracuse Crunch to a 5-4 win over the Providence Bruins in Game 3 of the AHL Eastern Conference Finals. The 30-year-old defenseman is enjoying, from a statistical standpoint, his best season in professional hockey. After setting new regular season career highs in goals (15) assists (45) and points (60), the Warren, Michigan-native has kept the ball rolling in the playoffs, averaging nearly a point per game (3 goals, 10 assists) in 14 games to date.
