Tippett to get a shot right out of camp July 05, 2017

Owen Tippett did not waste any time turning heads at his first pro camp last week, so much so that it would not be surprising if he made the Panthers’ squad out of training camp this fall. Drafted 10th overall by Florida in this year’s draft, the 18-year-old winger had a dominant sophomore campaign in the WHL, tallying 44 goals and 31 assists in just 60 regular season games. He was also instrumental in the Mississauga Steelheads' long playoff run, registering 19 points (10 goals, 9 assists) in 20 postseason matches.
