Parise singled out as a leader and top player for U.S. squad July 26, 2013
Along with Wild teammate Ryan Suter, Zach Parise has been tabbed by U.S. Olympic associate GM David Poile as a key member of the next generation of great American hockey players. Invited to the U.S. orientation camp in late August, Parise will be looked upon to play a leading role in the 2-day affair, which will feature a number of young prospects, such as Seth Jones and Alex Galchenyuk.
