Sanheim to fight for a spot in Flyers’ lineup August 24, 2017

After impressing in his first full professional season in the Philadelphia Flyers organization, defensive prospect Travis Sanheim will be one to watch in the Flyers’ training camp this fall. Drafted by Philadelphia with the 17th pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, the 21-year-old defenseman took his offensive game to new heights in his final junior campaign before being a surprise standout in the AHL last season. In 76 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Sanheim tallied 10 goals and 27 assists, placing him 6th among rookie defensemen in points with 37.
