Fleury to fight for final spot in Hurricanes’ defense August 25, 2017

Coming off of a successful first season of professional hockey last year, top prospect Haydn Fleury will look to breakthrough at the NHL-level this season. A 7^th pick overall in the 2014 NHL draft, the 21-year-old rising star impressed on both ends of the ice with the Charlotte Checkers in 2016-17, registering 7 goals and 19 assists and a plus/minus rating of +16.
