Neal mentally prepared for life in Las Vegas September 15, 2017

Claimed in the NHL Expansion Draft by the Vegas Golden Knights this past June, James Neal is not fazed by the prospect of joining a club that could be years away from Stanley Cup contention.  Now on his 4^th NHL team in what will be 10 seasons, the Whitby-native has been through the twists and turns of trades and free agency, and is only looking forward to what will be a fun, new challenge in Las Vegas. The 30-year-old winger is excited to be both a top scorer and mentor with the Golden Knights, as the team will likely ice a largely inexperienced squad in its inaugural season.
