Sam Steel knows that cracking the Anaheim Ducks’ roster in 2017-18 will be a challenge, but the 19-year-old offensive dynamo is keeping a level head through it all. After dominating WHL defenses last season, the Ducks’ 2016 1st round pick will do all he can to get a long look from coaches at this fall’s training camp. There is no questioning the talented center’s pedigree – he led all junior players in scoring last season, with an incredible 131 points in 70 games for the Regina Pats.
