Sanheim poised to make NHL breakthrough this season September 28, 2017

The writing appears to be on the wall: Travis Sanheim is ready to make his NHL debut. Drafted 17th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, the Elkhorn, Manitoba-native has shown a little bit of everything from the Flyers’ blue line this preseason, including a team-leading 3 goals. The 6’4, 200 lbs. defenseman was solid in his first full season of professional hockey last year, registering 37 points (10 goals, 27 assists) and a +7 rating for Lehigh Valley of the AHL.
