Tippett making the most of NHL experience October 27, 2017
18-year-old rookie forward Owen Tippett scored his first career goal last night, as the Florida Panthers steamrolled the Anaheim Ducks, winning by a score of 8-3. Despite being the youngest player currently playing in the NHL, the Peterborough, Ontario-native has kept a levelheaded approach so far, focusing on doing all the little things right instead of doing too much. He has also focused on doing what he does best: shooting the puck. Through 4 games he already has 11 shots on net, including a game-high 7 in his NHL debut.
