1st rounders Horvat and Shinkaruk sign with the Canucks August 06, 2013

The Vancouver Canucks signed two future stars today, inking Bo Horvat and Hunter Shinkaruk to entry level deals. Selected 9^th overall in the 2013 draft, Horvat was acquired in the deal that sent Cory Schneider to the New Jersey Devils. He finished his OHL career in style, scoring a league best 16 goals in the playoffs. Shinkaruk, drafted 24^th overall in the same draft, was the captain of the Medicine Hat Tigers last year, scoring 86 points.
