Marchand leads Bruins to win January 03, 2018
Brad Marchand was named first star of the game last night, as the Boston Bruins cruised to a 5-1 victory versus the New York Islanders. The Halifax-native registered a goal and an assist along with 5 shots on net in the contest. The sparkplug winger has been a big part of the Bruins’ resurgence since the beginning of December, where the team has gone 7-0-2. For the season, Marchand is averaging more than a point per game, with 34 (16 goals, 18 assists) in just 30 games.
