Monahan steps up in Flames’ triumph January 05, 2018

Sean Monahan was named the 3^rd star last night, as the Calgary Flames came from behind to defeat the Los Angeles Kings by a score of 4-3. Down 2-0 after the 1^st period, the Flames scored 4 unanswered goals in the 2^nd period, including Monahan’s eventual game-winner with just 45 seconds left in the frame. The team’s leading goal scorer would finish the game with 2 points (goal, assist), 4 shots on net and a +2 rating. For the season, the Brampton native has 36 points (19 goals, 17 assists) in 40 games played.
