Josh Bailey’s quiet ascension to stardom January 23, 2018

It has been a long and winding road leading up to this point for Josh Bailey, but now in his 10^th season with the New York Islanders, the 28-year-old can celebrate his first NHL All-star appearance. It is very much a deserved nomination for the Bowmanville-native, who has been an electric offensive producer thus far this season. He currently sits 6^th overall in points (54) and 2^nd in assists (42), and is a major reason why the Islanders are in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff race.
