Phaneuf traded to playoff contending Kings February 14, 2018
Ottawa Senators’ defenseman Dion Phaneuf was traded to the Los Angeles Kings in a 4-player deal yesterday. The 34-year-old veteran rearguard will look to bolster the Kings’ defence, as they look to make push for the 2018 NHL Playoffs in the coming weeks. The native of Edmonton, Alberta had appeared in 53 of the Senators’ 55 games this season, tallying 3 goals and 13 assists in that span.
