Leipsic makes big impression in Canucks’ debut March 01, 2018
Acquired from the Vegas Golden Knights via trade this week, Brendan Leipsic shined in his debut for the Vancouver Canucks last night, tallying 2 assists in a 6-5 defeat to the New York Rangers. The 23-year-old sparkplug winger also led all skaters with 7 shots on net, and finished the contest with a +2 rating. The Winnipeg-native is in the midst of his first full season in the NHL, registering 15 points (2 goals, 13 assists) in 45 games to date.
