Jake Bean tallied 5 assists last night, as the Tri-Cities Americans defeated the Victoria Royals 6-5, taking a commanding, 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven, 2^nd round series. Traded from the Calgary Hitmen in a blockbuster midseason deal, Bean has fit in seamlessly with his new club, bolstering the team’s blueline with scoring punch and solid two-way play. The Calgary-native has been a big reason why Tri-City have been one of the big surprises of the WHL Playoffs, tallying 11 points (1 goal, 10 assists) in his team’s 7 straight victories to date.
