Neal hoping to stay long term with the Golden Knights June 18, 2018

After a successful first season with the expansion-side Vegas Golden Knights, winger James Neal is hoping to stay with the Stanley Cup finalists, despite being a unrestricted free agent this summer. The 30-year-old winger scored 25 goals in the regular season for the Golden Knights, his 10^th straight season with 20 or more goals.  He would go on to tally 11 points (6 goals, 5 assists) during Vegas’ improbable Cup run, and though the team came up just short, the Whitby-native expressed his belief that the team has a bright future, and that he wants to be a part of it.
