Miller and Theodore made big impression in Golden Knights’ inaugural season June 19, 2018
Defensemen Colin Miller and Shea Theodore became household names in Las Vegas this year, after both helped anchor a Golden Knights blue line that went all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. Miller, who had previously played for the Boston Bruins, was easily one of the NHL’s breakout performers of the year in 2017-18, registering career-highs in practically every category, including points (41), games played (82), and TOI/G (19:21). Theodore, meanwhile, became more and more integral to the team’s success as the year progressed. After tallying a career-high 29 points in the regular season (in just 61 games), he continued his good work in the playoffs, registering 3 goals and 7 assists while averaging almost 22 minutes of ice time per game.
