Neal signs long-term deal with the Calgary Flames July 04, 2018

James Neal is taking his goal-scoring talents north of the border. The 30-year-old power forward signed a 5-year, $28.75 million deal with the Calgary Flames on Monday, after narrowly missing out on a Stanley Cup ring with the Vegas Golden Knights. The Whitby-native brings a level of consistency at the wing position that is rivaled by few in the NHL. Since joining the league in 2008, Neal has reeled off 10 straight campaigns with at least 20 goals or more, including a career-high 40 in the 2010-11 season.
