Hertl makes 4-year commitment to stay in San Jose July 09, 2018

Tomas Hertl re-signed with the San Jose Sharks last week, putting pen to paper on a new four-year deal. Drafted 17^th overall by the Sharks in 2012, the Praha, Czech Republic-native is coming off a 2017-18 campaign that saw him set a new regular season high for goals with 22, before pacing the Sharks in playoff goals with 6 (in 10 games). Despite the fact that he will be entering his 6th NHL season, the 23-year-old center is only just hitting the prime of his career, and Sharks’ management believe the best is yet to come for the talented player.
