Danault signs on for 3 more years with Canadiens July 16, 2018
Philip Danault and the Montreal Canadiens came to terms on a 3-year, $9.249 million deal on Sunday. The 25-year-old center has made big strides since joining the Canadiens via trade at the tail end of the 2015-16 season. After breaking through with career-highs in goals (13) and points (40) in 82 games last season, the former 1st round pick maintained a similar point-per-game output in 2017-18, tallying 25 points in 52 games.
