Wilson brings Stanley Cup to his hometown August 06, 2018
Tom Wilson took full advantage of his day with the Stanley Cup on Sunday, taking the mythical trophy back to his hometown of Toronto, and more specifically, the North Toronto Memorial Arena, where his dreams of becoming an NHL player began. An alumnus of the North Toronto Hockey Association, the 24-year-old winger spent the day signing autographs and meeting with youngsters who aspire to one day become NHLers themselves. The day culminated with the raising of a banner paying tribute to Wilson’s Stanley Cup triumph.
