O’Reilly confident in Blues’ chances in 2018-19 August 27, 2018

Acquired in a trade earlier this summer from the Buffalo Sabres, Ryan O’Reilly believes his new squad, the St. Louis Blues, have all the right tools to contend this season. Expected to slot in as the new No. 1 center, the Clinton, Ontario-native appears to be right player to lead the Blues back to the playoffs, combining a rare blend of offensive efficiency (3 straight seasons of 20+ goals, 30+ assists) high-end face-off winning prowess (59.98% last season) and overall exceptional two-way play.
