Monahan thinks Flames are on the right track August 31, 2018

After the Calgary Flames made a multitude of moves this offseason – including the acquisition of James Neal -- top centerman Sean Monahan is excited for the upcoming season. The 23-year-old rising star has been a key piece of the Flames’ youth movement since being drafted 6^th overall in 2013, scoring 20 or more goals in 5 straight seasons, including a career-high 31 last year (despite missing 8 games). With a new group of big signings and trade pieces suiting up for the team in 2018-19, Monahan is ready to prove to the rest of the NHL that Calgary are for real this season.
