Sean Monahan proves to be a quick study September 05, 2013

Drafted 6^th overall in this year’s draft, Sean Monahan is taking nothing for granted. Besides upping his usual training regiment (he added 11 pounds of muscle over the summer), the 18-year-old has been studying tape of other centermen across the league, searching for any edge he can find to better his game. All that is left now is to put what he has learnt into practice, and hopefully prove to the Calgary brass that he is ready to be a member of the 2013-14 Flames 23-man roster.
