Dahlin has been key to Sabres’ success November 30, 2018

Rasmus Dahlin has been a big reason why the Buffalo Sabres could be headed back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time in 7 seasons. Despite all the pressure that comes with being drafted 1^st overall, the 18-year-old defenseman has delivered in his rookie season, changing the Sabres’ from perennial cellar dweller into Eastern Conference contender. The Swedish-native currently leads all rookie defenseman in a plethora of categories, including points (14), assists (12), and +/- (+8).
