Abdelkader excited for a holdout-free season September 12, 2013
After enjoying a sun-soaked ride on a 47-foot Coast Guard boat with fellow teammates Jakub Kindl, Drew Miller and Stephen Weiss, Justin Abdelkader could not help but be in vacation mode. But do not be fooled: the 26-year-old is as excited as ever to get the 2013-14 season underway. The left-winger is looking to build off a solid year that saw him come into prominence on a line with Pavel Datsyuk.
