Jeff Skinner was named to the NHL All Star Game earlier this week, after an incredible first half of the season. Acquired via trade by the Buffalo Sabres in the offseason, the 26-year-old sniper has been one of the best scorers in the league this year from almost every statistical standpoint. Through the first 48 games, he is currently tied for 2nd in goals with 30, 4th in even-strength goals (23), tied for 2nd in game-winning goals (7), and has an impressive 19.6% shooting percentage, ranking him 9th in the league.
