Bobby Ryan scores in 1st preseason game; Karlsson solid September 16, 2013

It did not take long for Bobby Ryan to make an impression on his new teammates. Playing in his first preseason game for the Ottawa Senators, the Cherry Hill, New Jersey-native scored the winning goal in a 3-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets. The new No.1 line of Ryan, Spezza and Michalek made an impressive debut, participating in two of the three Senator goals. Erik Karlsson also looked good, playing over 26 minutes and registering two assists.
